Jakarta, 11 July 2025 — In a strategic effort to strengthen Indonesia’s entrepreneurial ecosystem, Smesco Indonesia, in collaboration with Ruang & Initiatives, officially launched the Smesco Integrated Startup Hub — a collaborative innovation space designed to connect startups and MSMEs (micro, small, and medium enterprises) within an integrated development hub.

Held from 7–11 July 2025, the five-day launch program drew 247 participants and featured 46 cross-sector collaborators ranging from government agencies and business communities to creative ecosystem enablers. The agenda included business sharing sessions, mentoring programs, space exploration activities, and a startup showcase introducing new business potentials from across Indonesia.

Managed by Ruang & Initiatives, the Smesco Integrated Startup Hub is envisioned as more than just a coworking space. It serves as a platform for continuous learning, innovation, and intersectoral collaboration, enabling entrepreneurs to adapt and thrive in the digital economy era.

During the launch event, participants had the opportunity to explore the hub’s comprehensive facilities — including coworking areas, podcast studios, creative meeting rooms, and product showcase zones. Through this immersive experience, participants gained a firsthand understanding of how each space can actively support business growth and networking opportunities.

As part of the launch, 46 collaborators presented thematic initiatives such as business mentoring, creative workshops, pitching sessions, and networking forums, marking an important step toward building a connected startup and MSME ecosystem. Ruang & Initiatives plays a central role as both hub manager and ecosystem driver, fostering collaboration across sectors.

Guided by principles of collaboration and sustainability, the Smesco Integrated Startup Hub aims to become a national center for modern entrepreneurship, enhancing MSME competitiveness and expanding networks across Indonesia’s creative and technology industries.
