Jakarta, October 7, 2025 — Continuing their ongoing collaboration, Ruang & Tempo and ABCD School of Coffee officially launched a new concept titled “Library Coffee: Brewing Honesty.” Building upon their previous partnership—where coffee was served by professional baristas—this latest initiative invites all space users to brew their own coffee and pay voluntarily based on honesty, without supervision.

The new self-service model marks a fresh step in nurturing trust and independence within creative work environments. Through the “Brewing Honesty” concept, individuals are encouraged to enjoy coffee while cultivating responsibility and integrity—two values that lie at the heart of Ruang & Tempo’s collaborative ecosystem.

To mark the launch, Ruang & Tempo and ABCD School of Coffee hosted a V60 Manual Brewing Workshop, attended by 23 participants. In this session, participants not only learned manual brewing techniques but also explored the journey of Indonesian coffee—from farmer to cup. The workshop emphasized coffee as more than just a beverage—it is a symbol of hard work, patience, and honesty, mirroring the essence of every creative process.

The Library Coffee initiative is part of Ruang & Tempo’s effort to build informal learning spaces rooted in shared values and trust. Meanwhile, ABCD School of Coffee continues to advance its educational mission by promoting a sustainable and inclusive coffee culture.

Through “Brewing Honesty,” Ruang & Tempo aims to remind everyone that trust begins with small, everyday actions—such as making and enjoying a cup of coffee. Every individual working at Ruang & Tempo can now craft their own brew at the Library Coffee Corner and contribute voluntarily according to their sense of honesty. This initiative transforms the workplace into more than just a space for productivity—it becomes a space for reflection, integrity, and shared values.
