Smesco Integrated Startup Hub and Growpreneur Accelerate MSMEs Through the Sajuta Connect Program
Jakarta, 11 July 2025 — The SMESCO Integrated Startup Hub, in collaboration with the business development community Growpreneur, organized Sajuta Connect, a business matching program aimed at expanding access to networks, mentors, and collaboration opportunities for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). The five-day program attracted strong enthusiasm, with a total of 114 participants.
As part of the Open Initiatives Day initiative to strengthen the entrepreneurial ecosystem, Sajuta Connect was designed as a meeting platform connecting business owners with practitioners and potential business partners. Through focused discussions, product consultations, and business needs mapping, the program facilitated MSMEs in building capacity while strategically expanding their market reach.
The program featured 11 speakers, all of whom are members and alumni of the Growpreneur incubation program: Rissois, Casa Grata, Mbrebes Mili, Ice Honey Mak Wo, IKids, Secret Potion, Montana, Ing Pawon, Flos Aurum, Bims Cookies, Saree Ulos, and KREM. The speakers shared real-world experiences on growth strategies, brand strengthening, operational management, and building business sustainability amid market changes.
The collaboration between SMESCO Integrated Startup Hub and Growpreneur represents a concrete effort to create a practice-based learning environment for MSMEs. This approach enabled participants to directly observe successful business models, challenges, and inter-brand collaboration practices that can be adapted to their own ventures.
Sajuta Connect highlighted the strong need among business owners for a supportive ecosystem, new business networks, and relevant mentorship. Through direct interaction between incubation alumni and participants, the program created a two-way learning experience with tangible impact.
The collaboration between SMESCO Integrated Startup Hub and Growpreneur is expected to serve as a sustainable model in supporting Indonesian MSMEs to scale up, become more technologically adaptive, and enhance their competitiveness at both national and global levels.
